Lisa Moore Ramée was born and raised in Los Angeles and now lives in Northern California, with her husband, two kids, an obnoxious cat and more yard than she can control. She earned a BA in Speech Communication from SFSU and a MA in English Literature (focusing on Creative Writing) from CSEB. She worked for several years in publishing, first for Disney Comics, and then for Disney Licensed Publishing. While at Disney, she co-penned The Little Mermaid, Jr. Graphic Novel and the writing bug took up permanent residence. She has yet to figure out how to become a judge on either of her favorite shows: Top Chef and Project Runway. She is the author of A Good Kind of Trouble, a best-selling Walter honor book, and Something to Say. A middle-grade fantasy, Mapmaker, is due out in 2022.
